My Thoughts on Life, Death, Judgement Day and Eternal Fate

I've been recently pondering life, death, Judgement Day and eternal fate. It that normal for a 13 year old girl? Probably not.
I've almost always known I was going to die eventually. It just became real to me last night that life will end, that it won't last forever. I'm young, and you might say I've got a long road ahead of me before I'm on my deathbed, but those who are on their deathbed say it's like they were a youth only yesterday. Life seems to slip through your fingers like gains of sand. What is death like? What does it feel like to ascend to Heaven? Many people have asked, as a motivation to live a better life, "what will you have to say for yourself when Judgement Day comes?" My answer? I will confess and accept my second chance, because we are unable to redeem ourselves by works. All sin is the same in God's eyes, so it won't matter how good of a person you were. God offered us mercy, it's our only hope, and it's brighter than we could ever imagine. Comparing yourselves to others to convince yourself of your worthiness to Heaven is absurd. Saying, "Oh, Johnny's been such a bad kid. He's a Christian now, and if he can get in to Heaven, I'm definitely in." Um, excuse me, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way. Life is not going to last, but what will is our eternal destiny. You must have a personal relationship with Christ for your eternal destiny to lie in Heaven. Be a follower, not a fan(That's one of my favorite reads, by the way.).
Oh yeah, totally normal.
